FAQ

Who can join?

Any individual who currently holds an active Florida real estate license — Sales Associate (SL), Broker (BK), or Broker-Associate (BL) — in Current/Active status with the Florida DBPR.

How do you verify my license?

At sign-up, we cross-check the license number and last name you submit against the live DBPR licensee directory. If your name and license match, and your status is Current/Active, you're in. If anything doesn't match or your status isn't active, we'll tell you and not save the account.

To keep someone from registering under another agent's public license info, we add a few more checks: you affirm at sign-up that the license is your own (misusing someone else's is fraud and may be reported to DBPR), each license can back only one account, and you confirm your email before your public agent page can go live. If you ever find an account created in your name, email info@flrema.org and we'll lock and recover it.

Is it really free?

Yes — fully free during the founding cohort, no credit card required, no auto-bill traps. Founding members get grandfathered pricing whenever paid tiers launch, so the cost of getting in now is your email and a minute of your time.

What happens when paid tiers launch?

Founding Free remains free for founding members for the duration of the founding cohort. When paid tiers launch, you'll have the option to upgrade to Pro/Elite/Top Producer Circle at grandfathered pricing — but you're never forced to. Founding Free stays free.

Is FLREMA a Florida Realtors® or NAR organization?

No. FLREMA is an independent, for-profit Florida company. We are not affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS®, Florida Realtors®, any local board of REALTORS®, or any state or federal regulatory body. FLREMA members may also be NAR members — many are — but membership in one does not imply membership in the other.

Can my brokerage or team join as a group?

Individual licensees join individually under their own DBPR license. Team-tier and brokerage-tier offerings are on the roadmap — if you run a team or independent brokerage and want early access, email info@flrema.org.

How do I cancel?

Email info@flrema.org from your member email and we'll remove your account and all member data. (Audit records required to be retained under Florida law — e.g., NAR-mark affirmation logs — are kept per their legal retention period.)

Is my license number safe?

Your license number is stored encrypted at rest and used for our internal verification and segmentation only — never resold, never displayed publicly without your consent, never shared with third parties for marketing.
